We are an office-based practice, dedicated solely to the treatment of venous insufficiency and its manifestations such as varicose and spider veins. In addition to traditional surgical capabilties, our state-of-the-art treatment modalities include endovenous radiofrequency ablation, microphlebectomy, sclerotherapy, and Duplex ultrasound diagnostics. Our patients are treated in a warm and caring environment where their satisfaction is the focus of everything we do.

Dr. Alan Muench is a Board-Certified Surgeon, residency trained in both General and Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow or Member of: The American College Of Surgeons, American College Of Phlebology, International College Of Surgeons, Vascular Access Society of the Americas, and the Idaho Chapter, American College Of Surgeons. Dr. Muench also serves as an assistant Professor of Surgery with the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences. He is renowned for his dedication to patient care, his hallmark throughout a long career spanning the breadth of clinical and academic surgery. Dr. Muench’s experience in trauma, reconstruction, and difficult wound management make him uniquely sensitive to the cosmetic and functional concerns arising in the advanced stages of venous insufficiency.
